I had a strange dream tonight. In the dream, I saw myself pulling cabbage seedlings in the field. This surprised me because I have never grown vegetables or had any experience in growing vegetables. But this dream is still interesting to me.
In the dream, I carefully plucked the cabbage seedlings and planted them in the ground. I can clearly see some little cabbage seedlings, they look very cute. I feel great because I seem to be very skilled at doing this.
I kept poking the cabbage seedlings until my hands started to feel pain, and I suddenly realized: I was doing an impossible task now. Because I don’t know how I should grow cabbage, nor what nutrients and conditions cabbage needs to grow healthily. I am so frustrated with my ignorance on this matter.
The vision in the dream quickly faded, but my interpretation of the dream lingered. I convinced myself that this dream meant that I needed to learn agricultural knowledge, understand the growing process of crops, and master what kind of land, light and water conditions are suitable for different crops. Only in this way can I become a real farmer.
