I dreamed that I went to the field to break corn. This dream was very clear and made me feel as if I was actually there. At that time, I was wearing a simple work clothes, holding an old machete, and went deep into a corner of the field. Corn sheds are neatly arranged in the field, and a trail is left outside each corn shed for people to walk on.
I walked carefully along the path, and the soil under my feet made a slight sound, as if to remind me that I was approaching this holy land. When I walked to the corn shed, I began to carefully look for the corn to break. The corns sparkled like golden beads, attracting my attention. Their backbones were covered with small thorns, which hurt my hands, but I still endured the pain.
I picked up the machete, sandwiched it between the corn cob and the corn husk, and violently broke the corn cob from the husk. The corn inevitably let out a wail in my hand, and then fell to the ground. I held the corn in front of my chest and carefully cut open the corn cob with fine teeth. When I gently opened the newly cut corn, the aromatic smell of corn made me close my eyes and firmly remember this intoxicating smell in my heart.
I continued to move forward. In this soft summer day, I felt the breeze rippling around me, the birds in the cornfields sang cheerful songs, and the lowing of cows in the distance seemed to be calling me. It inspires me to break off more corn and gain more satisfaction.
In this dream, I felt a sense of joy and satisfaction that I had never experienced before. Completing this simple task brought me deep pleasure. This also made me realize that each of us can gain happiness from the little things in life and get satisfaction from these small actions.
The dream finally ended. I tossed and turned on the pillow on the bed, listening to the chirping of birds and the sound of the wind blowing outside. After reminiscing about this wonderful dream, I fell asleep contentedly.
