I dreamed that I was in a spacious garden and saw a tall ginkgo tree. It has a thick trunk, dense crown, and lush branches and leaves. It looks like a very old and powerful tree. I was curious, so I walked closer to observe it. Suddenly, I found a withered branch with no leaves at the moment, so I pulled it out. Then, I found a few dry leaves and pulled these leaves off too. Before I knew it, I had uprooted the entire ginkgo tree. I froze and watched in horror as the leaves and fruits on the ginkgo tree fell down, and the trunk swayed and fell. I tried to lift the ginkgo tree up, but found that the foundation was rotten and cracked, making it impossible to save it. At this time, I realized that my impulsive behavior caused the death of the ginkgo tree.
After I woke up, I still had lingering fears. I realized that this dream might represent some of my struggles and confusions in real life. I began to think about the symbolic meaning of dreams and found that the ginkgo tree in the dream may represent my own heart and soul, and the dead branches and old leaves that I pulled out of the tree may represent my attempts to change my bad emotions and behaviors, such as Anxiety, depression, etc. But when I blindly make changes without thinking, I'm very likely to destroy my own inner world and eventually collapse myself.
This dream taught me an important life principle, that is, whenever you make an important decision, you must first think carefully and make a rational judgment and choice. Only in this way can my life be healthier and more meaningful.
