I had a strange dream. I dreamed that there were two huge sycamore trees in a wide grassland. These two trees are tall and straight, with dense branches and green leaves, gradually becoming the center of this grassland.
In my dream, I was immersed in this wonderful scene. One tree stands on the east side and another tree stands on the west side. Each has its own style, but together they present a mesmerizingly beautiful scene.
I began to observe the different characteristics of these two sycamore trees. The trunk of the sycamore tree on the east side is slightly tilted to the right, with many curved branches on it. The tree seems more cheerful, and the golden sunlight shining on its branches and leaves makes people feel happy. Its leaves are richer than those of the sycamore on the west side, and appear to be more dense.
The plane trees on the west side are different from those on the opposite side. Its trunk is as straight as a huge pillar, with many branches arching in different directions, like a bird spreading its wings. The number of leaves on this tree is relatively less than that of the sycamore tree opposite, but each leaf is unusually thick, and sunlight can hardly be seen through the gaps between the branches and leaves.
As time went by, I felt the magical power of these two sycamore trees. They seem to be messengers conveying some kind of spiritual belief, allowing everyone who comes to this grassland to feel the power and pure feeling of practice.
The sycamore tree has a special status in Chinese culture. It is known as an ancient tree species that represents the passage of time. The sycamore tree in Beijing's cultural attractions is well-known to the world, such as the Beijing Grand View Garden, the Summer Palace, and the National Library of China. Pavilion and so on. In my dream, these two sycamore trees represent the melody and flow of life, witnessing the precipitation of time, leaving behind pieces of history and memories.
When I woke up, my memory still stayed between the grass and the two sycamore trees. I really want to go back to that dream again, because that feeling and experience is so precious and beautiful. In other words, this dream tells us that every moment in life is so beautiful, and we must cherish every moment so that the tree of life will become more lush in the years and never wither.
